Real Bravery is Challenging to Yourself

     Have you ever seen the pixar movie, 2012 film "Brave"? Maybe everyone wants to change their fate sometimes. In this movie, the main character, Merida, the princess of the ancient Scotland, tries to change her fate because her mother, Elinor imposes her the marriage with lords' sons. Of course, Merida disagree with it and decides to change her fate with changing her mother. However, it's the story that Merida builds her fate and I felt many things after the movie.

     Merida changes her mother to a bear accidently to change her mother's opinion about her marriage. Her mother, Elinor always say to Merida to act like a princess, not like a boy, and this causes Merida's defiance. Actuallly,  I think that Elinor doesn't have a right to order and "Do that, do this." Merida was almost caged in the castle, but how would she be angry when she was imposed for the marrige? If I was Merida, I would be very angry, too.

     The movie "Brave", Merida tries the adventure to change her fate, and she thinks that will o' the wisps would change her fate but actually, it was her who changed her fate. With this, Merida realizes the importance of her human mother. She always fought with her mother because of her pride. The movie says, "Fate be changed. Look inside, mend the Bond torn by pride." In the movie, Merida just interpreted this sentence as to sew the tapistry, but when I heard this sentence, I was touched, also impressed. At the end of the movie, I started to regret what I did to my mother.

    This movie, the "Brave", teaches me how to treat my mother and why the apologizement is so importatnt for mother and the daughter. Moive "Brave" has true meaning of mother and the daughter. This true meaning of the mother and daughter had made the every people cry at the end. What would happen if my mother disappears? How the mother is important to the daughter? Merida teaches us the answers of these question with her true life.

     Movie has so much to learn 'cause it shows us the real and actual life, and especially this movie, it teaches us and make us learn more with the true heart, not with the eyes. This movie shows us the each feelings of mother and daughter, very surprisingly, although it's an animation. I was rally surprised the animation can express theses feelings will than the real movie. I hope every mother and daughter would change like Merida and Elinor.

The Great Princess in Asia, Fa Mulan

	DAILY ACTIVITIES: She learned the things that girls have to do prepared for her marriage.
	GOOD POINTS: She is modest, clever, beautiful, independent, brave, resourceful, witty, and unique.
	BAD POINTS: Sometimes she is short tempered.
	OTHER: She has many abilities and powers. She also doesn't like previous female roles. She was independent, and active. She was not just normal Chinese girl at that time. She had long hair at first time but after she joined army she cut her hair.

Have You Ever Been Childish?

     The first part of the speech is about a word, 'Childish'. Sometimes, adults say to us, we are childish. People have their thoughts, but some people think it is childish because the listeners to this speech are older than the speaker. Some children won't say their thoughts because adults would say childish to them. However, adults would regret it, because all of the thoughts are critical on their own way.

     When they grow up, they loose their free thinking ability like children. Also, they are thinking in a fixed frame of ideas. They must learn from children what is thinking free and carrying out it to action. Many adults say to children that "You're childish." On the other hand, children can tell adults that they are childish because they can't believe and think freely so well. So it'a first reason why saying childish is very childish.

     Adults must think like children. Children have very big idea and great, also important idea. With this ideas, the children who grow up next generation would lead the world smoothly. But adults give up the ideas before carry out it to actions. Children's great dream is helpful to adults too, but they only don't know that those thinks can help them. so, adults give up to think like children.

     Many children who have big and great ideas, grow up. And they're thinking in fixed frames of idea. If you want to make the world innovative and make you special, you have to trash those fixed ideas. Adults must try to make their children to become better than them. Also, they must say to anybody, including children, "You're Childish."  And they must admire and cheer up their children, so that they can learn big and great idea and big dream to their children.

My Challenges for 30 days

     My 30 day challenge was to study for two hour everyday. At first I thought studying an hour a day is won't be difficult. But after one to two days I felt like I was being forced to study without free will. I felt that I should do something about this so I remembered by motto. "No pain, no gain." I kept thinking "I am studying for myself.." whenever I didn't want to study. Ultimately I am thankful to myself and I feel proud. I realized again that even I could do things if I followed through with resolve. But before we continue, one thing I want to point out is that I would be lying if I said that I studied everyday for the past days. To add more, it has only past for a week.

     It's a great pleasure to have an oppurtunity to introduce myself to you. I am an student in GLPS,(Globa Leadership Program for Students) in KMLA(Korean Minjok Leadership Academy).

     My name is Shin Woo-Ju. Iwas born in July 22, 2001 in Suwon, a city in Kyeongido. I am 13 years old. I am 158 centimeters tall and weigh 43 kilograms. There are four of us in my family. They are my father, mother, my younger brother and me. My father is a pharmacist in Anyang. I don't live there but my father and mother used to live in Anyang before long time ago.  In March, 2008 I entered Ansan-Su Elementary school in Ansan but I move to Pangyo in 2009, so I'm in Nakseong Elementary School in Pangyo.

     My personal merits are that I have a sense of humor and that I approach things positively and actively. I don'y like to leave anything half-done. It makes me nervous, so I can't concentrate on anything else until the first thing is finished. My parents told me not do anything by halves when I was used to young. As for my philosophy, I always try to understand other people and things around men in terms of love. But actually, I don't like the people who hates me. My hobbies are reading books and webtoons. Eespecially, my speed of reading the webtoons ability is second to none. I regard fun and happiness as the most important thing in my life.
